When the Method is the Madness

This was a gift for my dad’s birthday and an experiment with creating a background paper with watercolors and a respirator-spattering of white and gold for texture. So much huffing and puffing! Such a challenging choice of technique for a mild asthmatic! Endurance was definitely both the method and the theme of the work on this one. And the madness, a bit.

Next time? Experimentation with the airbrush or the toothbrush methods of getting fields of spatter! Doubtless, it will take longer and waste a few sheets of art paper along the way. And make a mess. Most of the techniques that want to work for me do.
